Rollers
Unscrew the clamping screw (9) and lift off the cage with the taper toward the front. Unscrew the clamping screw (10) and remove the cage with the axis. Replace rollers in sets.

Coat the roller seats with some grease so that the rollers are held in place by the grease during rolling.

  • Tip
When replacing the rollers, clean the cage and check it for damage, e.g. run-in marks, rough spots etc.; replace components if necessary. Worn cages or tapers can considerably reduce the service life of the rollers.
